This pride and attention gives us a leading edge in South Florida’s building trade. We aim to always show up on time and promptly complete projects to our consumers’ satisfaction.
WHY OCEAN IMPACT?
After performing thousands of construction projects in South Florida, we learned that our client’s increasingly desire hurricane impact windows as a feature of their buildings. Plus, we grew tired of seeing numerous projects that were improperly installed or unfinished by less professional companies and handymen. We established Ocean Impact to provide our clients this service with direct distribution from manufacturer to consumer. Unlike other contractors, we take pride in showing up to appointments ready and on time and promptly responding to messages and calls. When projects take off, we take the extra initiative in covering floors and furniture along with creating dust barriers between your residence and actual working sites. ABOUT THE OWNER: JAY PILCH
Going through high school, I wanted to be an architect, as I used to take drafting classes to learn how to draw layouts with 3D views. After finishing high school, I went to college in Philadelphia to follow through taking classes for architecture. At the end of the semester, I realized that most of the work would come from me being behind a desk and I wasn’t too enthusiastic about that. During the semester break while working out of my car with a great pair of working hands, I started helping friends and neighbors repairing their homes. This is when I realized that this is what I wanted to do full time, so I neglected to go back when semester break was over.
At this time, the only work vehicle I had was an old 1948 Chevy truck that I fixed up, painted by hand, and stenciled the company name on the door. After about 10 years of working all throughout the Philadelphia area, my family and I moved to South Florida where I could work outside on our projects all year around. So for the past 38 years in Florida, I have built the company with some employees being a part of our excellent team for over 25 years!
After many years of installing windows and doors, we decided to branch out and become a direct window company distributor, and that’s how we founded Ocean Impact Windows LLC. We have a full showroom display at our office, showcasing the amazing Eco Windows we install in all of our projects.
